125/250 receptacle

Got new whirlpool freestanding stove, wiring has black wire, red wire and white(middle)attached 3 prong cord. Problem 125/250 receptacle has 3 prong with white wire in middle, black on left and ground(bare) on right.Everything works in stove, burners heat but not enough. Need help.:(
