I have a 112 yr old house. 12 foot ceilings. Currently have a bunch of window units driving us out of minds from noise!!! Want to install a central a/c. Attached is a drawing of floorplan. In Texas, so plenty of 100 degree days. Thought of going with 5 ton unit but thinking of two units and dividing house. This is basically a two story house but second story is unfinished. Might finish in the future & if we go with two units, then that seperatea the duct work to go behind the walls on the second story. Any thoughts on sizing and layout? Thanks!!!
