So I just bought a house where the stove and dryer had always been gas appliances. We own electric appliances and have no desire to switch to gas.

In addition to this, I am remodeling the kitchen and would like to add at least 7 outlets.

My electrical panel is maxed out. It's only rated at 100A. Obviously, the best thing to do would be to upgrade to a new 200A box, but that's just not in our budget at the current time.

Would adding a second panel to run the 220V appliances and the 7 or more 120V outlets be a possible route for me to take?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

That question can not be answered until a load calculation has been done on your house.
