I am new to this forum and feel I have web skills, but I am being thwarted by what seems to be such a simple question.
This motor has no capacitor. I see where the cover once was and the wires are there, but I can't find any information about this motor on the web. All searches direct me to sham pages.
It is a 5KC35KG147X
I see only two terminals in the area where power goes in, so I figure 120 VAC in any polarity should make it turn, and any big honking capaceter should work.
But why is it that I can not find specs on this motor using standard search tools?

150 µF 370 Volts might be a good size to try using.

I've heard a rule of thumb is 500 µF per hp for starting applications.
