Can a 1/2" PEX water line adequately supply two 2.5 GPM shower heads?
Here in MA, code says it would be adequate to plumb two whole bathrooms (two single-outlet, 1/2" shower valves; two lavatories; two tank type toilets) with 1/2" lines. But add just one more fixture and it'd have to be 3/4".

Would it be adequate, (i.e. - could two people take showers simultaneously and not notice a drop in volume?), I'm not so sure. I usually run 3/4" to the first bathroom (shower valve specifically), then drop to 1/2" to pick up the 2nd bathroom.
