Trying to choose a pump for the cottage, the rise from the lake to the pump is only 5', but the distance to the cottage from the pump is about 200' going up hill to about 80' above lake level. Would a 1/2" pump suffice or should I go 3/4"? There is only 4 faucets and a washer in the cottage.

Ayuh,.... Go with a 2 wire 1" submersible pump,.... Way better,....

No primin', just hit the switch, 'n ya got water,....

Swapped out many a cottage to in water submersible pumps,....
