I don't know if it would meet code today but my mom's house has a 1/2 bath in a 28" x 42" room. It is tight but it works... The sink is tiny and when you are seated your knees are under the sink competing with the trap and supply lines for space.

Your toilet would have to be against the end wall not a side wall to meet code clearances and I doubt you will find a sink that extends from the wall less than 15" to meet clearance requirements.
Hayewe farm may be correct on this. But don't let that stop you. Just be creative.

Make sure you find out the local code requirements and go from there.

I can visualize the toilet at the far end of the space with a small rectangular sink along the side. Ideally, a sliding pocket door would be best.

First stop is to check out your local codes.
