Hello, I signed up in hopes of finding help for my dilemma. We are installing crown molding in our entryway. A large arched window (already trimmed out) hangs with only about 1.0 inches between the ceiling and the top of the arched window casing. I've done some searches and see that many solve...

Hi everyone, My closet light recently stopped working and I can't figure out what's wrong. A little background info: my house was built in 1950 and the closet wiring seems to be from the same period (old cloth covered wires), the light setup is just a standard light bulb and porcelain socket...

I have a whirlpool washer, it fills, agitates, drains but does not spin. I used hydrochloric acid and water to remove concrete from my tools (in a plastic bucket) but did not know how dangerous it was and how complicated the disposal process can be--first time using it obviously. It is pretty late at night and there's not much I can do but I am scared to leave it...

I apologize if I am using the incorrect terminology. I have owned a home for 1.5 years and know very little about this type of thing. From what I've read so far, I think it's the sill plate gap? Anyway, my house was built in 1945, initially a basement house, then they build up. It's a concrete...

Hi has anyone used this? I have some questions please! Does it smell strongly? How many coats do you need? How long does it take to do say a 40sq m room? Does it dry green? As I believe it's tinted? Also what temperature should you do this at? Thanks

The inducer motor on a 13 year old GMNT80 furnace cuts out intermittently after about 10 min of run time. It only falls out for a second, which in turn cuts out the gas valve. then the ignition process starts over, has no problem lighting again, and about 5 minutes later, motor stops again...
