    Pardon my terminology if it is incorrect. The bearer is made up of 3 2x8's. Oak I am told. It rests on the foundation walls with a support in the middle. It has a cutout of 5" x 6" with a post jack supporting it. (see attached picture) I would like to get rid of the post jack. Can I sister...
