the only picture I had of the foundation from inside, so you can see the cut granite.
my stairs have a landing mid-way down. Those windows are on the LH side of the house.

Great detail on the knee wall by the stairs.
I found this on the This Old House website.... it's built into a very similar shape and sized space. This is what I would love to do to my upstairs.
this is the view from the bed looking across the room. very small feeling. (This is the RH wall facing the front of the house)
