wow. i dream of doing something like this. beautiful job. and the center post is interesting. it gives the feeling that it was carved out of a tree trunk, and the cabin was built around it. it also defines different areas of the otherwise giant room--i'd leave it even if it wasn't necessary. thanks for sharing.
