Shingles short for ridge vent - what can I do?

Roofing my new shed, my last run of shingles is too short for ridge vent to cover and if I put another run of shingles, the nail line is in the vented opening for the roof. They don't make a wider ridge vent to cover what I have. Not sure how to run another row without loosing integrity of shingle. Another row would have to be nailed before the recommended nail line on the shingle and cut in the architectual part of the shingle. Any suggestions?

That's okay cut another row of shingles shorter than the ridge vent opening and nail where you can the ridge vent will cover it all

As rooster said, cut and nail where you have to, better than removing and starting over.
