Looking for opinions and experiences you've had at tile stores in the metro detroit area. Mine have been a bit Times are tough. Money is tight, but I insist on good service. Suggestions?

Hi Mrs. C,

That's a pretty vague invitation to discussion. You got anything specific in mind? I'm lucky I don't have to deal with shopping for tiles. I'd be interested since I'm from the area.

Jaz

tile shops

Sorry if vague but was just asking in general for some suggestions of where to go. I've had some bad experiences....
Even with the shabby economy I want to upgrade my home. Was hoping for some positive places to visit, that maybe I hadn't heard of. I know where NOT to go....

distributors

I've made my way around the detroit distributors.
Glad to say... LOVED Virginia Tile... their showroom and service Rocked! Genesee Tile and Dal Tile weren't bad but not as much to see. As for any others... they were a disgrace in customer service and product offerings. Hope that helps.
