How to adhere tile as decoration to wood bureau drawers?

Hi folks..
I'm new to this site but so glad I found it!!!
I am revamping a bureau with faux finishing and want to adhere tiles to the outside of bureau drawers for an antique "look". No functionality here... just decorative accent. No grout will be used. Its just a finishing touch. Does anyone have any suggestions? Will Gorilla Glue work???

Thanks!

Gorilla glue is to sloppy( it foams up and pushes out as it sets)

I suggest 100% silicone caulk--A small dab of hot glue in the center of the tile will hold the piece in place until the silicone sets up

Thanks Mike!

Could I use the gorilla glue on the center of the tile (safe spread area) instead of hot glue? Are you refering to a glue gun with those glue sticks?

Instead of hot glue, masking tape would be an option. It needs to immediately hold the tile in place. No glue will do that.

No idea how masking tape would do this...Perhaps sarcasm?

I'd suggest liquid nails or silicone adhesive. I agree that gorilla glue is too messy as it sets, limiting its ideal uses to things you won't see.

The masking tape would be instead of the hot glue gun. This is assuming you were going to put the tiles on the drawers while still in the bureau. It would be used to hold the tile in position while the silicone sets. Not the way I would have done it. You wouldn't need the tape if you took the drawers out of the bureau and laid them, face up on the floor. Then the silicone would just set overnight and you're done.
While I've used sarcasm at times in the past, this was not one of those times.
