x large gap between wall and tub

I have about a 3"-4" gap between my wall and tub. What is tring to fill the space now is cement. How do I go about filling in this large gap. Please, I have no experience or handy talent in my body so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Vickie

A picture would be good. A flat moulding will cover most things nicely usually.
