Wood Windows in a Shower

6 Foot Tub
Window RO is at the 4' mark roughly from the showerhead

Dare I consider a wood window for this bathroom remodel.
Looking at Marvin Ultimate Clad.
Clad on Exterior....painted wood on the interior.

Not a fan of Vinyl Windows. Feels cheap.
Looks cheap.

The window is out of the wet area - if not overspray from showering.

Maybe then consider composite or fiberglass.

Whatever you do, don't install wood. Also make sure that the unit is completely sealed, that you use non-wood trim components + exterior rated caulk sealant, and pitch the sill slightly (for water run-off).

Thanks. It never dawned on me to use composite.

Not a fan of fiberglass. It get's brittle over time. Had Owens Corning windows back when they made them....

BTW, yes on the pitch. Pitch out....as well as creating a slight pitch with the tile/mud on the sill as well
