What Type of Sink is this?

Hey Everyone,
I bought this sink off of Craigslist because it was a great deal but have no idea what kind it is or how one would mount it since it has no lip or edge on the top.
Any help would be awesome!
Thanks

I was going to suggest the farmhouse type sink, but it has no front lip. Interesting sink, though.

Looks like a commercial sink that would be on legs.

But looks like you could mount it as an undermount. Just build framing into you cabinets that support the sink from the bottom.

Re: What Type of Sink is this?

It would be fine for a barn or utility room but there are much better options for kitchens.

How deep is the sink? It looks too deep for a kitchen use. Maybe a utility or laundry sink?

Re: What Type of Sink is this?

Thanks everyone, I guess i need to either figure out the best way to mount it under or go a different route. I paid 40$ for it so couldnt really pass it up, ill find something to do with it :-) I dont know how i would undermount and it be tight, a base would make it high enough but i dont know if it would ever be water tight up under..

Cadaver sink used in a morgue.

I think Jazz is on the right trail. May just mount without an open front and all top edges go under the counter top, or it could be a simple rinse sink used in commercial kitchens
