Wainscoting on Bathrrom Walls, then tile floor?

I about about to install wainscoting in the bathroom, I have not yet installed the tile floor. I am assuming this is the way to go. However the chair rail groove is twice the width it the wainscoting itself. Is this normal, or did I simply order the wrong chair rail? Also, the baseboard also has a groove into which, supposedly, the wainscoting sits. I assume that must go in prior to wainscoting, no?

Please help ASAP!

Typically the floor is done first and then the trim work----however ,If you must do the walls first--figure out how the flooring will be tucked under--or butted up against the new wainscot---

As to your chair rail---you may have ordered the wrong profile----pictures always get the best answers---Mike------

Question?

Is wainscoting on the walls considered trim work?
