venting bathroom out wall

Hello,

I have an old double brick house with a flat roof. I want to vent my bathroom out the wall to avoid putting a hole in the new roof membrane. The problem is that the wall is not insulated leaving me about 2 inches of space between the inside brick and plaster (the plaster is furred out on 1x2s). Is there a skinny fan out there somewhere? I would prefer not to build the fan box out of the wall for aesthetics. When I talk to locals in the hardware stores they look at me like I am crazy, but every house is this entire city is double brick, flat roof, no insulation so someone has to have tried this.
thanks a lot.

Some local codes allow that, some do not, check local authority.

An HVAC supply house will have a fan, lots of guys use Greenheck, but that is just one brand option. A plumbing or HVAC supply house will have more options and maybe some suggestions.

Definitely check the codes. You can spray foam the cavity to help seal it.

I understand about the visual aspect, but if you can get over that there will be more common options in the wall mounted style blower.

Thanks, I will check the code, and the HVAC suppliers.
