My kitchen cabinets are cheap pressesd wood cases covered with a paper. The face frames and doors are solid oak. I should build new cases but I donít have time right now.. For now, Iíd like to veneer the exposed sides of the cabinets with an oak veneer. Does anyone know if I can veneer over the paper? My fear is that the adhesive will cause the paper to bubble. Alternatively, I could use heat to get the paper off and scrape off any glue residue before veneering. Any suggestions or warnings?
