Tub surround wall ideas needed

I have a standard size tub, 5', that is in need of new wall panels. I've been to Depot and Lowes and not happy with their selection, plus all the negative reviews to boot. Looking for rugged and easy to install designs. Not the super shiny thin easily breakable crappy stuff for $99.

Can someone recommend on online site for simple wall panels for my tub? I'm installing a sliding door and there's also a shower head on one wall.

TIA,
jk

The best ones are nailed onto the studs, not glued on.
There a whole lot thicker.
Sterling makes some nice ones.

Yes, they sure are nice. But not an option for my needs. Any glue-on panels worth checking out?

They make these PVC 4'x8' panels that might be worth trying. They are at least 1/4" thick.

Re: Tub surround wall ideas needed

Many years ago when Corion was new, we used to get it in 30" x 60" x 1/4" sheets, and then 1/2" x 2" trim strips. Four sheets would do a normal 5' tub and end up looking like a Roman tub when we got done. Don't know if they still sell it like that or if your even able to buy it without being a certified installer. It cut easily with carbide blades, drilled easily and was installed with liquid nails. We cut 1 x scraps as temporary bracing til it dried overnight, then caulked everything the next day.
