which tub material is best?


I am replacing my old yucky pink bathtub and am considering either Americast or Vikrell. which will be more durable and last longer?

IMHO, neither. My list would be 1. cast iron, 2. steel, ............3. Americast, 4. any other plastic.

Spend the little bit extra and get cast iron---You will be sorry if you don't.

My plumbing supplier has the same price as the Depot and delivers free. Worth looking into.--Mike--
