Had a question on vapor barrier. My shower is on an outside corner of a wall. Any recommendations then to avoid condensation?

Correct me if I'm wrong but If you're using redguard or another wet application moisture barrier then that would be sufficient. Otherwise you'd be encasing the backer between two barriers and potentially having moisture collect inside of it, leading to it failing sooner.

Yep, the stuff just paints on. Looks like something out of a horror movie with all that red goo on the walls. I seem to recall using a combination of a flexible spackling spatula (4", I believe) and brushes. Just BE SURE to clean those brushes quick otherwise the stuff dries hard and they're toast.
