Thermofoil kitchen cabinetry


Has anyone tried thermofoil cabinetry ? Does it last better?

Thermofoil is garbage, get it wet and it's toast.

They look good initially, not sure how well they hold up but if they get damaged and start to peel there isn't much hope for them. I have peeled the vinyl foil off before and painted them but more as a stop gap measure than anything else.

They are not bad but people who mistreat cupboards can spoil the expensive ones as fast as the cheap ones.
