shower parts questions

1. the arm that the shower head hangs off of. i am looking for a shorter one = the shower head would be closer tot he wall and higher. 1" off each side would be good enough.

2. fiberglass shower pans, the ones with the small bumps. ours works just fine for me. my wife says its slippery = its all the crap she puts on her body.
so she has this mat thing put down. i hate it, and, its getting to sliding around.
is there any textured something that will stick to the bumpy pan ?

thanx

Re: shower parts questions

Nothing like what you are asking for.
Best bet is
goggle Danco 27042A S-Style Shower Arm

As far as two showerheads. Why would you want that. If anything most complain about not enough pressure at a shower head.

Why would you add two and then you only have half the pressure.

Re: shower parts questions

You could always install a shower bar https://www.homedepot.com/p/GROHE-Re...-000/100685530 and a handheld shower arm, using just a 1/2" nipple in the wall where it comes out. You'd have to measure pretty closely so not to leave too much of the nipple hanging out of the wall since it won't be chrome plated.

Re: shower parts questions

this is what we have, and we like it. but, it sticks out further than i would like. this is a corner shower unit, and even 1/4" makes a difference. so up and in 1" would really help. i think i could cut it shorter and rethread it, but idk. and i thought, why bother if i can just buy one.
you can see the valve at the bottom of the bar.

my wife is disabled, we need something like this.

btw, that pos shower caddy will be replaced once i decide what to put there.
