Ok, so I was getting ready to pour the mud pan using the QuickPitch system and the ring doesn't sit flush with the top of the drain that the plumber installed years ago. It's crooked. The shower drains as is but it impedes use of the QuickPitch ring as it won't set flush with it.
Should I just use it as is and "shim" it or should I get a plumber to take this one out and put in a new one accurately before I pour the pan? And how much do you think that might cost me jsut ballpark?
I have the Schuler system drain kit which I got after this drain was installed and could have that replace this one if needed I guess.
