Should I remove Linen Closet to Increase Shower space for resale?
I have a small bathroom that I'm about to remodel in the master bedroom and am about to start redoing the shower first. The shower is about 2 feet less long because a linen closet from the bedroom is jutting into the bathroom and thus, taking up shower space. Should I remove that linen closet to increase shower space for resale purposes? Or does it not really make a difference you think in terms of affecting potential buyers?
The master bedroom has a separate small sliding door closet for clothes, and then a small closet for linens and things. I asked my parents, they believe the room should have a linen closet (that's good since that means less work for me), but then I asked a friend and she said she thought it would look nicer if the shower was bigger. I've never remodeled a place for resale purposes, I'm not really aware of "what's in" regarding that kind of stuff.
P.S. sorry for the sideways photos, I need to fix them next time
