Self sticking backsplach

Can I cover the wallpaper in my kitchen with the self adhesive smart tiles from Home Depot?

Possibly, if the wallpaper is very well attached, and clean, but I would not recommend it.

I would not trust anyting self adhesive around the sink unless you do not plan on cleaning it very often. The water will seep behind and loosen the adhesive after some time. Your better bet is to remove the wallpaper, make sure the drywall is in tack, skim coat if needed and give it a good primer coat and install ceramic. Long time solution.
