My small bathroom complete gut and rebuild including floors surround all drywall and fixtures removed and rebuilt with Kohler cast iron tub, premium moen faucets, toto toilet , premium vanity, lighting , fan and redone electrical, cement board, new sub floor, new drywall, tile floor and tile surround and paint took my contractor 2 1/2 weeks. He was solo except he subbed out the electrical and the little bit of plumbing . It was permitted and inspected in that time period was well. I belong to a gym so the added benefit I went to the gym daily. 3 month is ridiculous . He must not have wanted the job

Huh! Now I'm wondering if he said 'three weeks,' and I misunderstood. He did mention time to get permits. Thanks, BigJim and jimn01, for the feedback.

He _is_ a busy, popular contractor, and has an excellent, well-deserved reputation.

(Long sigh) Well, it's done, and I'm still pleased with the results. I like to update these posts with 'what I wound up doing' information, but that doesn't mean I wound up choosing the right road.
