range hood vent downward direction ok?

Can a 3.5" x 10" range hood vent slope downward, approx 35 degrees for about 3 feet, before exiting out of the side of a house through a range hood vent cap?

You will most likely get condensation from the moisture that will drip back down the vent and into the vent screens or baffles. The best choice is always straight up and out. Or up and a 90 to go out.

No I'm fine in that respect. I need to go up and a 90 then another 90 then down then out.
