I would compare the thickness to tubs and shower bases, is it fiberglass or acrylic. I would want acrylic only. Acriylic does have fiberglass on the back but acrylic is a thick plastic.

I agree with Neal, how thick are the walls and are they made for stand alone or do they require a backer such as sheetrock or cbu??

If the thin walls, I can't think of a "pro".

Nail on's do not need a backer.
Some require adding some studs.
I've installed 5 over the past 10 years and they all still look brand new.
