Prepping OSB for cable heating

Hello – I doubt this is actually a new topic, but searching hasn't turned up the advice I need. An overpriced "demo" team left the OSB in our master bath with patches of concrete up to 3/16" thick and gouges in the OSB about as deep. I plan to install cable (not pad) for a heated floor, so I guess I'm looking at self-leveling compound first; can I bring the entire surface up 3/16", and will I be able to screw through the SLC for the cable strapping? Also would like recommendations for the SLC to use; it's about 40 square feet. Many thanks.
