Odd Size Kitchen Cabinets

A relative has a mobile home and would like to replace the kitchen wall cabinets. I'm having a hard time finding them.

The cabinets are 24" high. This is apparently not a size that most places stock. I would really prefer not to go the custom cabinet route ($$).

Anyone have a good source for reasonably-priced wall cabinets in odd sizes?

I've found cabinets the correct height sold for use in garages and laundry rooms, but they don't offer much selection. One stumbling block seems to be finding an inside corner cabinet. I'd need that, and a few different width options.

I'd retro fit it to use normal cabinets. MH cabinets are often undersized and cheaply built. How high is the ceiling?

The actual size will vary depending on brand but just buy the smallest 2 door cabinet and remove one door to create a blind cabinet. I've done this more than once with wall and base cabinets.

I have seen 24 inch cabinets used for bathroom vanities.
Check the size of those for your design.
Trouble would be finding corner units.

Thanks all!!

The ceiling is right at the top of the cabinets. No chance of fitting a 36" cabinet.

That's my plan "B." I don't like the idea of the other door opening into the corner, but it would probably be OK if I found the right width cabinet.

Those don't usually have much of a selection of widths, and there's a very specific width to be covered, with only maybe 3" leeway either way on one side, and even less on the other.

I didn't mention it, but they should at least have a passing resemblance to the base cabinets, which are nearly new and won't be replaced. And before you ask, no, we don't know where they came from. I suspect they're the bathroom/laundry/garage units I see everywhere.

Have you tried a mobile home parts store, they usually have anything you need.

Upon re reading this Topic, I see you wanted WALL cabinets.
My mistake to suggest vanity cabinets. I was thinking about Bases.

Kindly ignore my previous posting.

Re: Odd Size Kitchen Cabinets

Lower cupboard doors or often close to 24" high, Buy ready to assemble and cut them down to fit the lower doors.
