Kitchen counter tops

I am looking to replace my kitchen cabinets. The previous home owner updated the counter tops on the original cabinets. Is the counter tops and sink salvageable when I go to update cabinets?

It depends on what type they are, and how they are fastened down, and how the back splash is installed, if there is a separate one. Same goes for the sink, is it under mount, top mount. Need more information.

You have any pictures?
