Kitchen cabinets.....Which ones?

I thought I would remodel my kitchen with IKEA cabinets. I'm familiar with them....and love them. But the problem is their wall cabinets are deeper than usual (15") and i have soffits that are 13" deep. So it means removing the soffits if I want to go with IKEA cabinets (or make the soffits deeper)
I took a look on the web and found other brands that don't seem much more expensive:
The RTA store
https://www.thertastore.com/kitchen-...-cabinets.html

TheRTACabinetstore:
https://www.rtacabinetstore.com/RTA-...lington-linen/

Have you ever heard of them? Any reviews?Any other recommendations?

Thanks

The top link white ones are gorgeous. That's only an opinion, not construction advice. The dark ones seem passe ( no accent aigu on my keyboard)

Just make sure the shorter person in your home can reach them!

Re: Kitchen cabinets.....Which ones?

While you can spend a bunch of money on Kraftmaid and other solid wood cabinets, there are lesser expensive ones made of wood to be had. My current client spent a kazillion dollars on a bathroom vanity made of presswood and laminated plywood for the bottom. Its in, but I know the quality was not there, and she is a very quality oriented person. I kept quiet.

Re: Kitchen cabinets.....Which ones?

That's the main reason I built my kitchen cabinets. I was able to use solid wood and plywood for less money than the cheapest worthless cabinets cost.
.... not to mention the bragging rites that come up every so often

Re: Kitchen cabinets.....Which ones?

Anything made of dimension lumber for rails and stiles, plywood carcass, at least 1/2", drawers of dimension lumber with dovetail fronts. If you look for that, brand is inconsequential. Kraftmaid is just one brand that exhibits good construction.
