Kitchen Cabinets Makeover Help

I posted this I believe under incorrect topic, but never saw it appear so here I go again sorry if duplicate but I believe it was wrong maybe why it never appeared.

As I mentioned in my intro I have a 1969 split level and my kitchen cabinets are in wonderful condition... BUT I no longer like the color nor the trim. I cannot afford to replace my cabinets so looking for options.

My one concern is the trim, I do not like it is raised and it gets very dirty around the edges and difficult clean and it also has a groove in the center that collects dirt/dust. I would love to eliminate the trim and change the colors.

I have searched endlessly online to find similar projects but nothing like mine, so anyone have ideas or photos they can share or links I would greatly appreciate the help.

Here is my cabinets -

You would have to buy new doors I would think. Are you planing on painting them or staining them a different color?

New doors could be made or bought. I don't know how else you would fill the recess in the doors.
