how to finish wall near the bathtub

Hello. I am replacing my bathtub. The old tub finish is on the same plane as the finished wall. I have noticed that most tubs are recessed into a wall. mine was flush with the long wall. near the corner is a closet so I cannot easily extend the wall. I am looking for suggestions on how to finish the wall where the tub and wall and closet meet. I have a video describing my dilemma at

Thanks in advance.

Dan.

Put a strip of 1/2" or 3/4" or whatever you need on the studs on the wall beside the door jamb. Basically furr it out to be the same as it was before.

Or you could drywal the wall as it is then put a small moulding around the door casing, say a 1/4" by 1/4" or 1/2" by 1/2" or whatever you like/ need.
