help with insulation behind densgard

I am doing a shower teardown. The insulation behind the existing floated morterbed (chickenwire) and greenboard has a shiny surface and states it is a vapor guard. I was going to put densguard over this existing insulation . Is this ok to do or does this cause a "moisture sandwich"?

FYI, I have already removed the insulation on the bottom half and was just going to put it back before I put up the densguard. If it is not ok would poking holes in the shiny surface remedy this "moisture sandwich"?

Any help is much appreciated. Also, any comments regarding densguard versus the other alternatives.? Densguard seems easy to use.

Straight from Georgia Pacific's PDF instructions on Densguard installation:
"Do not use vapor barrier behind DensGuard Tile Backer, DensGuard has a built-in moisture barrier on the face."
