Granite Side Splashes

Hi, Can anyone tell me if they have had a vanity top where the side splashes do not come clear to the end of the vanity? We bought a Tuscany vanity top with the backsplash included. We installed the vanity and backsplash and went to install the side splashes and they are about an inch too short of the end of the vanity.
