geez---water escapes shower

We've had a bad situation that might take an easy solution:

Our shower works fine, but whenever we shower, usually there's a pool of water outside of the shower and on the bathroom floor. The shower curtain doesn't keep the water in the tub.

I call it "Lake Siwash." Or whatever. Then I have to mop it up with a towel.

What can I do?

Are you putting the bottom of the curtain in the tub?

. . . right. curtain's in tub.

Maybe the thing to do is to adjust the pipe to the nozzle head once I find how it's spraying.

Turn on the shower but don't go in it. Try to see how the water is getting on the floor.
