Hi everyone, new to this forum. I am beginning to make preparations to make an attempt at renovating my very small master bathroom. I've never done something this extensive.
The wall pretty much started to cave in and when I pried off some tiles I found mold and rotted out sheet rock with no vapor barrier. I haven't demo'd it completely yet so I don't know the extent of the damage. I was looking at doing a tiled shower and saw a bunch of kits online that seem pretty simple to use. Is there one that everyone recommends? I durock one seems good but got mediocre reviews. Has anyone used these types of kits?
Please supply a link whenever possible. A tiled shower will add value to your house and when done right will last a lifetime. There are panel systems of various quality, consider your choices.
I am not sure what you mean by tiled shower kits. I would not pay attention to on line reviews. Who cares if a product gets 5 good reviews, one or none? There are 322 million people in the USA and probably more than 120 million residences.
