Faux Granite - May have messed up? What do you think?


I saw this on a blog and tried it last night. I did one coat of poly on it this morning and am hoping that helps this look better.

Thoughts?

I respectfully assert my 5th Amendment rights on this one...

One of the issues with blogs and Home Improvement shows....stuff looks good on film or in a picture...but in person?

imo, the cabinets themselves, at least by the way you took the photo, look old and scratched badly. Wouldn't refinishing or painting them have made it look better rather than faux granite?
