double shower cutain

I am going from a shower door to a curved double shower curtain rod.
I am looking at the Moen.
Does anybody have any suggestions or website links for pointers or guides on how to install a double curved shower curtain.
Thanks
Barry

Re: double shower cutain

It's not an exact science. I installed mine so the ends of the curtain fall just inside the tub. That curve out just gives you more room to shower than a straight rod.

Re: double shower cutain

Any regular shower lined curtain will work, there is no such thing a "curved shower curtain".

Re: double shower cutain

only consideration is curtain length as the inner skirt has to go over the tub lip
as splash shield. I installed the curtain 4" off floor for a 72".

the model your buying has directions on how to install??
and includes curtain considerations / instructions !

if you have to go into tile to mount . . .buy a tile drill bit

Re: double shower cutain

Having installed a few "double" shower rods over the years I would suggest 2 singles because they don't provide enough clearance on the double rods for the liner to work smoothly.

In my opinion they need to be about 6" apart so that both panels hang straight and move freely.
