Doing my basement bathroom! I'll be needing your help please!

Hi All,
I'm new here and I live in New Brunswick, Canada. I'm a electrical apprentice by trade and I've been unemployed for little over a year. I'm having no luck finding work in or out of my trade so I am going to try to keep my mind busy by trying to do our basement bathroom.

This is currently how the bathroom looks like now:

This is how I would like it to look like:

Unfortunately I know nothing about plumbing and I would have to move the toilet because the drain pipe seems to be way too close to the toilet for some reason.

Here is an image from the door(I'll be moving the door from where the closet is now)

I found 3 dead mice carcasses behind one of the walls so I'm taking a bit of a break as its absolutely disgusting :/
I'm probably going to take all the insulation and throw it all out as I am finding dead bugs and stuff in it

I have all the time in the world to complete this and I'm going to use this forum to my advantage and I'll be doing lots of reading.

Any tips and advice would be great!!!

I can't see a drain to the left of the toilet in your photo.

You may want to put more dimensions on your drawings, particularly from the center of the existing drains to the walls.

You are creating a dead corner between the shower and lav in your proposed layout.

Hi cleveman, nice to meet you and thanks for responding!

There is a drain with a orange cap on it (I'm presuming its a drain):

I'm going to use a better program to make a proper floor plan. I'm new to this Mac OS X stuff :/.

It would be amazing if I could get the washer and dryer in the room also so they're not in the electrical panel / hot water tank room, like this:

I'm trying to figure out a proper way to have everything.

My main issues now is that I have to rig up a shower fan. I have exposed pipes below the ceiling joist (I'll have to run strapping).

From the left wall to my toilet its 46".. and the drain pipe is 19" from the left wall.
Am I even going to be able to put a shower in there?
