Cutting installed tile

I installed my walls of porcelain tile and cut the tile nicely around the faucet valves etc. What I didn't know at the time what that the faucet escutcheons recess slightly into the wall and therefore the tile opening has to be big enough to encompass the escutcheon recess. So, I have to grind or cut the tile openings a little (1/4" or so). I'm not having much luck finding anything small yet deadly enough to cut the tile.

Ideas? Experience?

A diamond cutting wheel for a Dremmel Tool should do---a diamond coring bit is what I would use--with a stick on cup---but those are about $39--and rather a lot to open up two holes---
