Cutting cultured marble sheet

I have several pieces of culture marble 3/8ths inch thick that was used as the skirt on the whirlpool tub I removed and am replacing. I will attach a couple pictures for you guys to verify that it is indeed cultured marble, if you don't mind.
I want to cut a piece out of one sheet to top a pony wall that meets one end of a soaker/whirlpool tub I'm installing. The pony wall is about 20 inches higher than the tub, but I would like to put a piece of this cultured marble on the top surface and then trim it with wood trim. The reason for this is my wife tends to sit cups etc on top of the wall while getting ready.
If I understand what I have read or seen, I can cut the material with a circular saw and a masonry blade. True?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Cutting cultured marble sheet

Yeah that's the way to do it, but do it outside as it will be real dusty, and wear a mask that dust is nasty to your lungs.

Finished piece for pony wall. The trim is still in primer, but thought I would post a photo of how it came out.
