Cutting acrylic light diffuser panels

What is the cleanest and fastest way to cut these panels. I have straight cuts and curved cuts to make

Anything with a fine toothed blade.

Even then, the cuts can still 'chip out'. If this starts, you can minimize it by putting masking tape over the line you need to cut. Remove tape immediately after the cutting is done. Like MudPad said, the finer the teeth, the smoother the cut. You'll need to use a sabre saw (jigsaw) for rounded cuts.... go slow and be careful.

There is also a small "hook-knife" used to cut these panels. The pebbled surfaces create a challenge but it is do-able. The smooth surface panels are easiest. The hook-knife digs out a small quantity of (plastic) with each pass as you "drag" it, then at some point the panel can be deliberately and neatly broken along the gouge made with the knife. It works for curves also.:)

the 'hook knife' that would work for me is a carbide tipped one suitable for laminates.

I use an ordinary utility knife and make several passes and snap off the waste.
