I have removed the old tiles surrounding an enamel bathtub. The way the tiles were installed was crap: an additional layer of drywall, and the tiles!!!
So much thicker than usual, and the new tiles will not cover it
There are now some trace of caulk, grout and...mold
Mold is easy to remove, but the old dried caulk/grout is much harder
I'm using a plastic putty knife to avoid scratching the bathtub
I also have to use a scouring pad, but I try to do it gently....However, looks like it lightly discolor the bathtub, which is beige
How could I complete the cleaning differently?
And how could I try to fix the light scratches that I have?
Should I even try, or leave as it is?
