Can you id the color/type of this melanine? countertop?

so, need to cut out a patch that blistered with a hot pan put on it. Can you ID this type of melanine counter top ? I watched a this old house vidio hot to replace it. Get a patch that is larger then the area you want to cut out. Make sure the square patch is square and use it as a template to cut out the same exact shape under neath it on the counter. Then use a iron to heat up that part of that patch and remove it. then put in the patch and reheat the glue under it to activate it.

Good luck with that idea.
Far better looking to just replace that whole section and not have 4 seams showing.

I may also cut and the counter, and putting in a shallow cutting board pan.
BTW, the top counter would my guess be pretty expensive.

Only need that short end piece and an end cap.
Any Lowe's or Home Depot will have it.
Easy to cut to length.
Should be less then $75.00.

home depot does not carry it and the ordered sheet would be 275.00 CDN

I read that laminate may not match exactly to what it was in color and production what do you know?

Here is a idea

You're not going to get an exact match from a different batch and I doubt you will get an exact cut .Even with years of experience in HPL I would be hard pressed to make that invisible or even unnoticeable.
