Anyone Recognize These Cabinets?

Hi all,

This is probably a long shot, but does anyone recognize this line of kitchen cabinets? House was built in 2002, if it helps.

Or, if you can't pin down the exact line or manufacturer, do you know a line of cabinets with a similar door style?

Thanks!

Have you checked the boxes very carefully...up high or in the back.... Production cabinets normally have a manufacturer sticker stamp somewhere in them.

(Impossible to tell from a front view...too many manufacturers and too much similarity in panels and door fronts)

Have you checked in all of the drawers and cabinets? One of my drawers has the manufacturer's name stamped inside it.

EDIT: Opps, looks like MTN types faster than I do.

google, custom cabinets and take a door around and visit the local shops. Even if they didn't make them, they can be matched.

Re: Anyone Recognize These Cabinets?

Those look almost identical to my maple Thomasville's [stain is Brandywine] (See my kitchen remodel album if you want to compare.)

The drawer boxes would be dovetailed and have a big wood burnt brand on the sides if they are.

Thanks! Those look close enough as to make no matter.

Do you happen to recall exactly which of their arch style doors you have?

Your cabinets could have been made anywhere. My kitchen cabinets were made 800 miles from where I live (near Yuri's area). And who knows if they still make the same style and color.
If you are just adding one or two cabinets, just do as Neal suggested above. Hard part will be matching the door pulls. (even if you find original manufacturer, they may well have offered any door hardware on the planet, to your preference)
If you are putting them in another room, just get something close, nobody will notice the difference.

Re: Anyone Recognize These Cabinets?

What I want to do is shorten the cabinets above the nuke box to give more head room for pots and pans on the range. So I can cannibalize the pulls from the existing doors for that.

Someday down the line I may want to extend the island, but that is a problem for another day (fiddle-dee-dee), and at that time I may just bite the bullet and replace all the pulls.

Re: Anyone Recognize These Cabinets?

Thats a job for any cabinetmaker.

I have actually done that project myself. Shortening the box can readily be a DIY job. Shortening the door requires a little more skill. My shortened door was OK, but certainly not perfect.

If you have a duct out the top, that needs modification too. If duct is out the back, its a little more work.

There is codes for how close MW can be to burner. 15 or 16" minimum is common, or as specified by MW manufacturer.
